Stewart is the tech and data expert dedicated to keeping Sandbox running smarter, faster, and more securely. He joined Sandbox in March 2020 and assumed the role of AVP, Technology & Intelligence just one year later. He is all about building digital solutions that make insurance seamless for policyholders and brokers alike. From optimizing systems to harnessing the power of data, Stewart ensures technology works for people—not the other way around.

Before joining Sandbox, he spent nearly a decade at Group Medical Services (GMS), where he grew from Manager of Business Analytics & Reporting to Director of Business Analytics & Pricing in 2016. With a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and an Executive MBA from the University of Regina, Stewart blends deep analytical expertise with big-picture strategy. He’s also a member of the CIO Association of Canada, staying ahead of the latest trends in tech and business intelligence.
