Appointed Chief of Staff in 2026, Kit Hillis works closely with the President & CEO, Board of Directors, and Senior Leadership Team to help advance Sandbox's strategic priorities and long-term success as a mutual insurer. Through Board governance, corporate secretarial leadership, and enterprise business planning, he helps connect strategy with execution, ensuring priorities remain aligned and decisions are translated into action.

Passionate about simplifying complexity and helping people focus on what matters most, Kit serves as a key connector across the organization, bringing people, priorities, and initiatives together to move Sandbox forward. He plays an important role in strengthening governance practices, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring strategic objectives remain coordinated and actionable across teams.
