Sandbox Broker Donation Fund

Charitable organizations are the backbone of communities in assisting others in times of need.  Sandbox believes in the value of giving back to these communities and is excited to announce that we are once again we have opened up the Broker Donation Fund to independent brokers throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The creation of this fund is to improve our business partnerships with our independent brokers across the prairies by offering a donation of $5,000 to a charitable organization in each of the provinces we operate.

Earlier this year, we asked brokers to submit a proposal for a registered charity of their choice describing how the charity would benefit the communities in which they live and work. We received several submissions and randomly chose three entries per province. Sandbox staff then voted to determine which charity would be the recipient in each province.

With all the votes tallied, we are pleased to be donating $5,000 each to the following charities:

• MANITOBA – The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba submitted by BSI
• SASKATCHEWAN – Inclusion Moose Jaw submitted by Henderson Insurance (Dewdney)
• ALBERTA – Helping Families Handle Cancer submitted by Costen Associates Insurance
