Disruption to Mail Service Due to Canada Post Strike

We want to inform you that due to the Canada Post strike beginning on November 15th, there will be a disruption in mail services from Sandbox Mutual Insurance. We want to assure you that your experience is our top priority. We have implemented several measures to minimize any impact on service where possible and to ensure you continue to receive timely support. 
 

What to Expect

  • Mail Services: All mail services in and out of Sandbox Mutual Insurance will be suspended. This includes policy documents, registered letters for cancellation, refund or claims cheques, and policyholder payments via mail. 
  • Alternative Delivery Options: For any critical documents, alternative delivery options may be arranged provided we are able to send to a street address. Unfortunately, delivery will not be available to box numbers. Each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Contact your Insurance Broker to learn more
  • Policy Documents: Digital policy documents may be available through your Broker. Once services resume, all documents processed during this time will be mailed out.
  • Policy Continuity: To support our policyholders during this time, we will ensure that no policies are cancelled due to lapsing payments. This policy continuity will extend for a period of 10 business days following the end of the strike.
  • Extended Support Channels: Our support team is ready to assist you via phone or email. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.
