As our Broker Services Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to expert for managing and coordinating the systems, rates, and products that support our broker services. You’ll partner with the Supervisor, Technology and teams across the organization to lead technology projects, implement system changes, provide frontline support, and ensure brokers have the tools and resources they need to succeed. Your work will directly support operational excellence, innovation, and the growth of Sandbox.

DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY BY:
- Analyzing, researching, designing, and documenting broker technology projects and coordinating their implementation
- Determining testing requirements, developing test plans, and providing frontline support for web applications, web content, third-party vendor solutions, and broker interfaces
- Leading system processing changes in consultation with the Supervisor, Technology, including identifying requirements, proposing solutions, testing, validating, and implementing changes
- Coordinating, testing, and monitoring the implementation of new products and resolving operational issues with Sandbox departments and brokers
- Acting as the liaison between Sandbox departments, brokers, and third-party vendors
- Performing quality control checks related to iSMI and producing broker reports
- Managing broker bulk changes in consultation with the Underwriting Liaison
- Reviewing industry rates and coverages and assisting in determining updates to Sandbox rates and marketing strategy
- Collaborating with Business Intelligence to ensure broker data supports informed decision-making
- Updating and maintaining company website under the direction of the Manager, Brand
- Monitoring broker-related technology trends and keeping management informed
- Performing other related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX:
- Experience & Credentials: Minimum five (5) years’ experience in property & casualty insurance, with knowledge of data mapping, CSIO standards, and computer programming considered an asset. A CIP designation and a diploma in a computer-related discipline are definite benefits
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of broker systems, product implementation, and data management
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across departments and with external brokers and vendors
- Adaptability: Comfortable with travel and representing Sandbox in meetings, training, or vendor visits
- Culture Add: Positive, collaborative, and contributes to a high-performing, inclusive organizational culture
