Travel Giveaway - Contest Rules

Contest Period:

The contest begins on October 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CST and ends on October 14 at 11:59 p.m. CST. Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.
 

Eligibility:

  • Open to legal residents of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of entry. 
  • Employees of Sandbox Mutual Insurance, its directors, agents and their immediate families and household members are not eligible. 
     

How to Enter:

  • Follow @SandboxMutual on Instagram.
  • Like the contest post.
  • Tag a friend in the comments (each tag is one entry, to a maximum of ten (10) entries per person; tagging the same person more than once, or tagging accounts that are not genuine, will not count).
  • Optional bonus entry: share the contest post to your Instagram story and tag @SandboxMutual (public accounts only; sharing is not required to enter). 
  • No purchase or insurance policy purchase is necessary to enter or win. Purchasing insurance does not increase your chances of winning.
     

Prizes:

The winner will receive a flight and spa gift card to use towards a BC spa of their choice, gift cards from great BC-based brands, and additional Sandbox-branded goodies.

  • Flight Gift Card: $700 flight gift card to go towards a BC location of the winner’s choice.
  • Monos Carry On: One Monos luggage carry on valued at $295.
  • BC Spa Gift Card: $300 gift card to a BC spa of the winner’s choice. (The spa must have gift cards available for purchase to be eligible.)
  • Vessi Gift Card: $200 gift card to Vessi shoes.
  • Lululemon Gift Card: $200 gift card to Lululemon.
  • Visa Gift Card: $100 Visa gift card to use towards meals, transportation and extras.
  • Sandbox Swag: A selection of Sandbox branded swag, including:
    • Sunglasses
    • Travel mug
    • Gray Sandbox branded Herschel duffle bag
    • Small extras, including lip balm and a notebook
       

Winner Selection & Notification:

  • Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries on October 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. CST.
  • Winners will be contacted via direct message on Instagram from @SandboxMutual. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner will be chosen.
  • Sandbox will collect the winner’s contact information, such as their email address, mailing address, and phone number, for the purposes of confirming eligibility, contacting the winner, and delivering the prize.
  • The selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question and sign a declaration and release before being confirmed as the winner.
     

Conditions:

  • This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.
  • By entering, participants release Instagram and Meta and Sandbox Mutual Insurance from any liability related to the contest.
  • Prizes must be accepted as awarded; no substitutions or cash alternatives will be provided.
  • Sandbox Mutual Insurance reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time if necessary.
