Leigh Dunn is a trusted leader in risk management and compliance at Sandbox Mutual Insurance. Joining Sandbox in September 2026 as Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, Leigh brings extensive experience in governance, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal audit. His collaborative approach focuses on helping organizations make thoughtful decisions, pursue opportunities responsibly, and build long term resilience.

Before joining Sandbox, Leigh served as Vice President, Internal Audit at Conexus Credit Union, where he worked closely with executive leadership and the Board. Prior to that, he held senior risk leadership roles with Cornerstone Credit Union and Plainsview Credit Union, leading enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, governance, and strategic initiatives.

Throughout his career, Leigh has taken a balanced approach to risk management, recognizing that effective risk practices aren't about simply saying no. Instead, he focuses on helping organizations navigate complexity, make better decisions, and move forward with confidence. His experience and collaborative leadership will support Sandbox as we continue creating a delightfully simple insurance experience while building for the future.
